So Christmas at my dad's is usually the same. My sister gets drunk, cries, tells me we have the best dad ever and I walk away. My brother, Danny, has a million new kids or something and likely a new girlfriend to go with them all. My brother, Dean, stays in the basement and doesn't say more they "Hey." My brother, Doug, calls from Washington and we talk about nerdy stuff.

This Christmas was fairly different. My dad's wife says "Oh, you've gained weight." as soon as I walk in. My brother, Dean, talks to me!!!!!!!! My brother, Danny, has a new kid!! He found out about this one after she had already turned 1. One night stand. Apparently the mother of this child was supposed to be at Christmas, but she wasn't. Neither was the child. I am now an aunt to 5 children of his, none of which I can keep up with. They don't know me at all and I don't know who is who. Kristen & Sam stopped by real quick (THANK GOD) and Danny said he couldn't leave the country, he'd end up having kids all over the world. It's freaky true. That man is fertile and definitely gets around. My sister isn't taking my father's calls because her son is busy taking a hammer to their house. He's like 15 too. What a train wreck. I didn't hear from my brother Doug. Ann called me Jessy which is my 10 yr old niece. How that woman doesn't get why I hate her is beyond me. My dad hates kids and gets stressed out so easily.

Oh and also my dad told me that even when I was a kid he knew I'd grow up to have a huge butt. :(

Last night was intense. I had a quick dance off with a random guy while someone who looked suspiciously like Lil Wayne rapped about who knows what. Got back home around 1:30 since I had to work this morning. Sarah & Parker walked all the way to a party off of Highlands then decided to take Short Vine on their way back and stopped at the Kroger. I woke up at 4:30 to the smell of a passion fruit candle burning and some Bob Evans breakfast sandwiches being microwaved. Disturbing for sure but I had such a great night. Also, I looked damn good.

Jesus. Mogwai is so good at creating songs that start out fairly boring then build up until it feels like your entire body is beating with the song. Those of you that know me intimately know how the song I Know You Are But What Am I? effects me. It's for almost the same reason but in an entirely different way.

A) My nose is stuffed up completely. I am going out of my mind. I hate being this sick uuugh.
B) Man of my dreams. Thank you. Thank you thank you thank you. Yes please. Always. God thank you.
C) The very last episode of The L Word. What the fuck. No resolution. No conclusion. UNHAPPY.
D) I love my new shirt. Our family had Christmas early so as to fit into everyone's schedules and also to just get it out of the way. It was really good. We did a lot of things differently to accommodate the lack of my grandmother. No prayer was said (thank god), we had snack foods instead of real dinner food so as to avoid missing grandma's rolls, no photo video was made because my mom couldn't handle it, the kids all got like 4 gifts instead of many more, the adults all got one gift instead of two or three, and there was enough wine to keep everyone laughing.
E) Linguistics final tomorrow, handing in my Folklore final tomorrow as well, Shakespeare final Wednesday, Western World final Tuesday or Thursday (gonna fail). Trying to study my brains out today.
F) Listen to the M83 station on Pandora. It's fabulous.
G) I'm happy.
H) My mind has never been this clear however I keep focusing on the wrong things. Like I played farmville for like 30 minutes, doing nothing, before I realized I wasted 30 minutes playing fucking farmville. I cleaned my kitchen for forever as well. I need to focus on the right things! Back to studying.

I take it all fucking back because "I never would have started talking to her again if you hadn't stopped talking to me" just doesn't fly. You don't just go from hating someone/thinking they are just the absolute worst to wanting them to sleep next to you in a matter of weeks solely because someone else didn't want to talk to you AND if that does happen... further proves how ingenuine you are. You especially don't change your mind that quick if you "love me and would like to see me." I'm not even mad because I dislike the girl or anything-I have no opinion on her, I don't know her! I only know what YOU told me about her. And it all sounded so awful. Human beings are supposed to be capable of being alone, but since you aren't you just suck and suck and suck from other people. I'm not even mad because you did me wrong, you didn't. I'm mad at who you STILL are. I'm mad that "you changed" but turns out you just didn't! I made a mistake in thinking you were capable of change and now I understand that I was 100% wrong and am erasing the last few months from my heart. First I tried to back up and again try to just be your friend and nothing more. When that didn't work I told you we just couldn't talk. I tried to leave you, again, in a peaceful and understanding way. I tried to leave you with kind words and warm thoughts in my body. I tried to leave you maturely and respectfully assuming you deserved that much now that you had attempted to change. I'm sorry it didn't work out like that. These are in reverse order. We went to Ault Park, spent hours getting ate alive by bugs. Then we bought balloons and went to this great abandoned complex here in Clifton. It's like 4 run down apartment buildings all boarded up. It was neat. Then Taco Bell then old zombie movies at the Dennig house, now home. mmmmm goodnight.

The plan for the day was to be lazy on Jacob's couch and watch Planet Earth but I woke up cheerful, actually put on alright looking clothes, even washed my hair! The weather was nice so I called him and said we were gonna go to a park! And we did!

Then we went and I bought him lunch/dinner at PF Changs since I tried to buy him dinner yesterday and it ended up being free. Then we walked to... not Wild Oats but that other store. In Rookwood, whatever. We walked there and he bought us desserts.

Aw. I don't like cake or icing but if I did I would definitely have made him buy me one of those.

I may or may not have came home and cleaned a bit EVEN THOUGH I told myself I'd do it tomorrow. Whatever.
